Class paths

Pick the mode that fits the work in front of you.

FlowQuest classes are lightweight operating modes. Choose the path that matches the session: deep thinking, execution, craft, or team planning.

How to choose

The right class reduces friction before the timer starts.

A class path works when it makes the next session easier to name. If it adds theater without clarifying the work, switch modes.

Match the work, not your identity

You can use Scholar in the morning and Operator after lunch. Class paths are modes, not personality labels.

Keep the quest visible

The class path should clarify the session shape: learn, execute, make, or decide.

Change when the day changes

A useful system lets you recover. Switch paths when energy, meetings, or task type shifts.

Choose a class, then choose one finishable quest.

The class path gives the session shape. The quest gives the session a finish line.
